Robert Beech TD BSc MRICS – Chartered Surveyors Leicestershire
Robert is the Principal at Robert Beech and Associates and he is a chartered building surveyor who studied at Leicester Polytechnic obtaining a degree in building surveying in 1977. He was appointed an Associate/Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1979 and has therefore been a fully qualified building surveyor for over thirty years.
Since qualifying he has worked in a number of domestic and commercial surveying practices but since 1998 he has concentrated largely on the investigation, mitigation and repair of serious buildings defects, most notably subsidence, on behalf of a number of major insurance companies. He therefore has a clear understanding as to the causes and potential causes of structural defects and a detailed understanding of the world of buildings insurance.
His interests in the past have included short service with the Regular Army and a long commitment to the Territorial Army serving as an officer in the Parachute Regiment
